To have or not have pet

I am confused. Part of me want to have pet, but one part doesn't want. Any advise?

       I am confused. Part of me wants to have a pet, but one part doesn't want. Any advice? 


      >  "To have or not to have" is a parallel expression. 
      >  A singular noun "pet" should be introduced by an article "a". Or you can use the plural "pets" without the                article. 
     >  The title is a question so it has to end with a question mark (?)
      >  Part is a singular noun, therefore use the verb "wants".
      > "Advise" is a verb, "advice" is a noun which is the function of the word in your sentence.
